Henrik Ibsen is the author of the play
The Doll's House and was his second piece of work. During his life he made five plays including
Peer Gynt, A Doll's House, Ghosts, The Wild Duck, and
Hedda Gabler. Most of the characters in his players are l mirrors or reflect on his parents. His plays seem to be dark and depressing like part of his childhood was. The play
The Doll's House was called the first feminist play and Ibsen denied this statement. His childhood was very good at first until his father lost his job and the family lost money. Before his father lost his job his family was very happy and he had a happy life.
