Act One

In act one of a Doll's House you meet the characters of the story and you can see alot about their personalities and the way they act. Nora is a very shy person and she is timid at times. It seems like she is hiding something and she is holding back. Also Nora seems to be very flirty with other men in the story and she is kind of a tease. Krogstad is a mean person and he is very stern. He is trying to take advantage of Nora with her money situation and it is not fair for him to do that when she is in a bad time in her life. Krogstad is very disreputable and most people in his town do not like him for what he has done in the past.Torvald is a person that seems to have a split personality at times. I think he is bipolar because he is nice one minute and mean the next. He says demeaning things to Nora and thinks she is worthless and just a dumb woman. He also strongly reproaches her and puts her down for what she does wrong.
